Pet Insurance Prices? Good Or Bad?

How much would pet insurance be monthly..?? I'm thinkn about getting it for my dog.. Hes a Keeshound but only 7 weeks old straightaway now.. Is it expensive.? Or just a waste of money..??

Answer: i as an individual do not go for pet insurance ... when my dog was a pup the charge for a good company was 45 dollars a month ... over the twelve years of my dogs individual i would have given the insurance company over 6000 dollars .... in my dogs lifetime, even with a major surgery, i still have not paid anywhere close 6000 dollars to vets ... my previous dog i had for 17 years, again i never paid that well-meaning of money to the vet ... my childhood dog lived to 16 years old, again no 6000 dollars

We are getting our first relations dog in September and I have been checking around on pet insurance prices and I'm just wondering is it worth the price? How long does it take to get reimbursed for the fortune you pay out to the vet? Is there any plans out there that they will pay the 80% the day of service and I only pay 20% the day of service? Also, are there companies that give good deals for more than 1 pet?

I've heard that some party's will give you some type of discount if you have more than one dog. I've also heard that some pet insurance company's only cover a few things for a high price.
