Can You Change A Beneficiary On A Life Insurance Policy Through The Mail?

I have a existence insurance policy through John Hancock under a group plan for Ford Motor Company that I got years ago. Now in mandate to change one of the beneficiaries name on the policy can I do this through the mail or do I Have to take a trip down the office. I found the form as a pdf off google called beneficiary vacillate turn into form. Anyone familiar with this?
