Unobstructed, open source software is very practical for the user: Just download, install and enjoy! But all the programmers impecuniousness to pay their rent, their food and social insurance ... How do they typically earn their money? (Answers from present programmers would be appreciated!)
Answer: Most get paid to program or do some other factual job, and do their open source work at home in their free time. I know several OS programmers - one worked on FVWM, another on a Linux VDU = 'visual display unit' app. Both worked as sysadmins and brought laptops to work and did their open source development during downtime and in the evenings.

I would like to initiate a web page that staff can enter information into, then 'click' submit and have it all sent to an e-mail account.
Rightful like filling out online insurance quotes (name address, DOB etc.) And even this section i'm typing in right now, lol.
Is it 'open source' software or is there more proper to programs?

I was Googling "eliminate my Aflac" and ended up here. I've been an independent STATE TESTED AND LICENSED agent almost 8 years and it confounds me that policyowners or conversation piece seekers would rather ask elsewhere "out there" rather than right to the source for DOCUMENTABLE answers. Insurance companies and agents are licensed and regulated - THEREFORE Answerable! Please, open my eyes!

I mean, my 12 year old kin could be an agent. They telemarket......get someone to sign a few docs and boom! They have a client. A few insurance agents I worked with couldnt even chosen english properly. What a joke. Youre better off asking on Yahoo! Answers than asking the substitute that sold you the policy.

I am fruitful. Im 19 years old and have NO SOURCE of income. I have no medicaid. I cant apply for medicaid because I HAVE NO I.D. When I turned 18 my medicaid was infatuated away.
