If I Make An Insurance Claim, Will The No-claims Bonus Of My Named Drivers Be Affected?

When I get my next insurance behaviour, I am thinking of putting on a couple named drivers. I don't know whether their no claims bonus will be affected if I have to manufacture an insurance claim.

My take on it is that they are both named drivers on each others insuances .Soften buys top of the range car, & wife has small runaround to take kids to school, do the shopping etc. Mute lets wife 'borrow' car at weekends. BIG mistake. She sees that his car is better equipped than hers, & uses righteous blackmail -'the kids are safer in your car', I feel safer as well. Let me use it. In doing so they are brow-beaten into surrender. Next step, wife has small accident in his car, husband claims

Answer: My theory -
A housekeeper backs into a guy's car, gets out and starts BAWLING!!! "ohh my husband is going to kill off me blah blah blah" so the guy, being a guy and having no patience for the blubbering, says "its not that bad" and leaves, because he's weary already of hearing the "woe is me" crap from the woman.
And THAT"S why women have fewer insurance claims!

If I Settle A Car Insurance Claim 50/50 Will The Named Driver And Policy Holder Both Loose Their No Claims?

Had an misadventure in August, insurance companies want to go 50/50 as the man that hit us is a liar. A named driver was driving at the then of the accident, so would the named driver and the policy holder both loose their no claims bonus?

Answer: No - only you (and the teller of tales) will lose their no claims bonus as the claim is being made on your policy.

The named driver will have to declare that they were involved in an luck to his insurers (as soon as possible) if they have their own insurance policy, or should they take out insurance - for the next three years,

I longing to know because it might just be cheaper to proceed outside of insurance claims.
