What Do You Know About Motor Scooter Laws In Southeastern Wisconsin? Please Help.?

I am an au fait driver and am thinking about purchasing a motor scooter to save fuel and have a little bit of fun. What can you let something be known me about possible insurance costs in the Kenosha County area (I have a flawless driving record)? I also would like to be versed if I need a motorcycle license or anything like that. Thanks all.

Answer: Insurance shouldn't be too bad. I'd ask your insurance legate for a quote.
In Wisconsin, like in most states, if it is an actual Moped (50cc or less) you can drive it on a car license. If it is larger than 50cc, it requires a motorcycle empower plate and a cycle endorsement on your drivers license. So if you are looking around at them on the streets and want to discern if you need a cycle drivers license, just check the license plate.

Speeding Ticket In Wisconsin, What Are My Options?

So I got a speeding ticket on November 29th for succeeding 15 over (65 in a 50 mile an hour zone) in Kenosha County Wisconsin. My court season is in the morning, so any and all speedy responses would be greatly appreciated. I'm basically just wondering what I can do to try and sidestep getting this ticket on my record.

I'm from Illinois and have had a few tickets here but each time I've been able to get court supervision along with delightful a traffic school class and the ticket

Answer: Wisconsin does not offering supervision. It offers traffic school for points only. It will still be on your record, and you will still pay the fine.

You should ask the court to see if you can have the ticket amended to a close by ordinance violation. You still pay a fine, but because it is written as a local ordinance and not a state traffic law, it does not show up on your track record, and is not available to insurance companies.
