What Do You Know About Motor Scooter Laws In Southeastern Wisconsin? Please Help.? |
I am an au fait driver and am thinking about purchasing a motor scooter to save fuel and have a little bit of fun. What can you let something be known me about possible insurance costs in the Kenosha County area (I have a flawless driving record)? I also would like to be versed if I need a motorcycle license or anything like that. Thanks all.
| Answer: Insurance shouldn't be too bad. I'd ask your insurance legate for a quote. In Wisconsin, like in most states, if it is an actual Moped (50cc or less) you can drive it on a car license. If it is larger than 50cc, it requires a motorcycle empower plate and a cycle endorsement on your drivers license. So if you are looking around at them on the streets and want to discern if you need a cycle drivers license, just check the license plate. |
