What Is The Best Professional Indemnity Insurance Provider And Quote For A Web Design Firm?

Im looking to win professional indemnity insurance for my web design firm. Who is the best provider? What is the best quote? What sort of costs should I be paying?

Also if we move into Internet consultancy will these insurances lid this?

And finally, what other insurance is required for this kind of business?

Thanks.
UK only please.

Answer: There isn't a "best clothes" one out there. You want someone who writes inusrance in your area - that's not going to be everyone! Coverage excluding consulting should run you about $1500 a year. Consulting is Overpriced. The last e-consultant I got a policy for, it was running about $3,000 a year, and he was a one man firm.

You're going to need a business regulation or package policy for your general liability and contents, plus office exposure, then the masterly liability,

How Much Does Professional Indemnity Insurance Cost In The UK?

I impecuniousness to start my own part-time lettings business and need to get Professional Indemnity. What sort of money will I be paying for this? Lowest cover required.

I just want to get a rough idea really before getting unique quotes.
Apologies! It is letting and managingresidential property on behalf of landlords. Starting off with around 6 properties.

Answer: letting what, flats? construction materiel? airplanes? It matters a whole lot.

How many will you be letting? What are your estimated gross receipts? All that matters. "Educated" is one type of coverage, "general" is another. Most won't sell you professional until you also have mongrel. I strongly suspect you don't need professional at all, only general. If you're letting one flat, it should cost about 500 pounds a year, lowest. When you have more, the

A Friend Of Mine Is Starting A Carpet Laying Business - What Types Of Insurance Should They Consider?

What types of insurance should big-timer with their own business consider?
Income Protection, Life, Professional Indemnity, tools & equipment, sickness & misadventure, health...??

Thanks.

Answer: I've had a carpet laying business before. You can fork out more money on insurance you dont need, it's incredible.

You can't lay carpet alone, you need help...either an employee or a accessory in the business. It's very, very easy to screw up you back or your knees in this business. Who is this help going to be and how are the medical bills getting paid. Very consequential to know the plan here.

You will encounter a few wonderfull customers that, despite the fact

Professional Indemnity Insurance?

Can anybody advise me the difference between Professional Indemnity Insurance and Liability Insurance, I am a business who goes into offices to work and I have Liability Insurance and I've been asked to present my Professional Indemnity Insurance certificate. Are they the same?

Answer: In a nut outside no they are not.

Professional indemnity insurance will cover your business in the event that a third party claims to have suffered a loss as a result of thorough negligence from advice or a service provided by you/your company. The difference between the two is that public liability insurance will boards you if someone is accidentally injured by you or your business i.e. a physical loss. It will also cover you if you damage third party property while on business.

Will Personal Indemnity Insurance Protect Me From Losing My Personal Assets?

where I have a LTD business and have problems with a purchaser of my work

Answer: I am assuming you are in the UK here.

Should a purchaser have a mind-boggler with your service they will raise the issue with you at some point.

If any dispute cannot be resolved, the onus will be on your purchaser to proove in some way that you have been negligent in carrying out your services or dab hand duty.

Ultimately this will result in you being sued for the loss or damage - this would be against the Ltd company, not yourself.
