If I Have A Combined Auto Insurance Policy With My My Spouse, Does The Claim History Follow Both Of Us?

I have an auto insurance policy with my spouse. He was in an calamity and filed a claim. He is not planning to buy another car and is going to use public transport. If I drop him from my policy, will my rates still go up because of his allege even though I was not involved in the accident? If I go with a different insurance company only for myself, will they also quote higher rates because of the claim?

Answer: the requirement follows the person not the policy you should be ok however if you live with your husband the law might require him to be on your policy as a second driver on your car

I recently applied for an auto insurance quote through AAA insurance. During the questionaire, I was asked whether I have any platinum have faith cards. I currently have a car insured through them, and I am concerned whether they could used quote questionair info against me on my current policy. I was irritating to get a quote on a new car that I am considering.

Answer: They are vexing to find out how creditworthy you are. Most insurers use some sort of rating scale or risk scale for people based upon acknowledgement scores. People with lower scores will pay more for insurance because the companies seem to think that they pose more risk.

What Are The Repercussions Of Canceling My Insurance Policy?

I blueprint on canceling my current auto insurance policy in 6 months after my car is payed off which is two months after it automatically renews itself. I am doing this so that I can get a whole new quote which is a lot earlier small than I pay now but what will the repercussions be because of it or will nothing bad come of it.

I have insurance with Progressive btw, just thought I'd throw that in.

Answer: If you redeem BEFORE the other policy kicks in, that means you're uninsured, and the repercussions depend on which state you live in. It could be a fine, or having your tags revoked, or even getting your approve suspended.


I'd suggest that the reason your new quote is a whole bunch lower, is because you have less coverage on it. Which, actually, you can ALSO do with Reformer the day after your car is paid off.

Looking In To New Auto Insurance, With Country Insurnace And Financial Services?

My boyfriend and I breathe togeather and have three vehicles, a Mazda Car, Dodge Truck and Yahama Street Bike we both have insurance policys with Nation Farm and we both are very happy all our insurance policys are seperate The car in my name with my agent the truck in his name with his agent and the st. bike also in his name and then i have a renters insurance policy lately in my name. when his work started a 401K with Country Insurance they met with us and went over alot of services they offer

I called a few insurance companies for auto quotes. I went with one friends and a few months later reicieved a bill from one of the other companies that i got a quote from. I called them to ask why the policy was issued. The answer was that there "system" automatically issues a policy if the communication is left in there for a certain amount of time. I never signed anything or gave any other kind of authorization. Now I have been sent to collections for car insurance I never new I had.

They are using the collection agency to try to bully you into paying. Tell the chrestomathy agency the situation and let them know they are free to take you to court if they wish because you are confident that the law is firmly on your side.
