Annual Travel Insurance - What Cover Do I Really Need !?

will be for me (30) and my son (6) to travel to europe and india this year (so worldwide week respite at a time)

I'm confused with all the quotes that come up - what do I really need? (ie how much cover and what excess is honourable?)

Answer: Most travel insurance policies are quite comprehensive, although there will be options for lost baggage and cancellation etc. It's best to take these options considering the expense wasted if you can't fly or give up something, especially as travel insurance isn't the priciest thing in the world.

Having had to claim myself before, I would always recommend a policy with a low over-sufficiency. My in-laws and I were in a traffic accident in Crete. Our policy was more expensive, although
 
 

Travel Insurance? Do I Have To Pay The Excess As Well As The Amount?

regretful if title is misleading i mean i was looking at travel insurance quotes and one says on the annual £20.81 and the excess says medical £150 and anotther 2 at £150 so does this signal i pay 3x £150 + £20 straight away or do i only pay the excess if something happens?

when an insurance quote asks for estimated annual mileage is that what you about you'll do 1 year or the actual mileage on the car?

how ru supposed to gage what milage you'll do. i would only be travelling locally.

and the cut it is, does it make it any cheaper?
