Step Child Uninsured Because Ex Wont Provide Child's Social? |
my silence is deployed. today he received a piece of mail from alaska child support division notifying him that they show he doesnt have medical insurance on his son. my soothe is in the army and there is coverage available through tricare but they have informed us they need his son's social security legions. my husband doesnt have this info. he has called his ex wife, she wont answer..he left a elaborate message that in order in insure the child he has to have his social security number. she
| Answer: If your soothe has requested the social only verbally then I suggest that he request it by mail. send it certified/restore receipt so that you can verify that the request was sent. If that does not work.......then write the Alaska Toddler Support Division and let them know the reason the child is not insured. Send them a copy of the request that you sent the mother. They will then do a formal demand as well and then it will be out of your hands.. |
